I am so confused.
A while ago, I wrote a post about how I raise my vibe to participate in a blog game. That post was visited around 20 times right when I wrote it. Lately, it has been getting 20 to 30 hits a day, and I cannot figure out what is generating the interest. To top it off, the main search engine term that has been bringing people to my blog is “flowers”, and yet, when I search “flowers” on Google, Yahoo and Vivismo, I do not find my blog listed. Instead, I find numerous sites offering to sell you flowers, deliver flowers, etc.
To top it off, the people who are coming for “flowers” all seem to be visiting the post on how I raise my vibe, which does have a picture of balloon flowers on it, but isn’t really about flowers per se.
This is confusing me. I love having people visit, and apparently when they visit that post they stick around and read other posts, and come back other days. So it is pretty fun. But none of these visitors ever comment. The only comments I have been getting are from my regular visitors and blog friends.
A mystery. One that wouldn’t concern me particularly if it wasn’t for my addiction to my blog stats.
Meanwhile, we have gotten 2 inches of rain today, which I am grateful for since I got my winter garden (lettuces, mesclun, kale, spinach) planted a couple of days ago. I also have created a new flower bed out by the sauna dressing room, and the rain will help soften the ground under the cardboard and mulch layers. I still need to put in the rock edging around it, and the rain will make that easier too.
Not a lot to do around here while it is raining, though. Guess I’ll go check my blog stats again.
