I have been thoroughly enjoying a series of blog posts by Sue O’Keiffe on exploring mandala symbology. It is well worth your while to visit her blog just to spend some time with the utterly beautiful mandalas she creates digitally.
The last section of her series was a mandala prompt, and I suddenly realized it has been way too long since I had my paper and pencils out. So I decided to see what came out of the exercise. I’m rather pleased with my mandala, and I thought I would share it.

Beautiful! Grandmother spider did a good job with that one.
The positionings of my shape preference were as follows:
1. spiral
2. equidistant cross
3. triangle
4 circle
5. square
I made my mandala using spiral, triangle and square.
