Once again it is the last Friday of the month, and I just want to say that by gum, I can’t believe that October is almost over. In two short months it will be 2011 and I have just barely gotten used to it being 2010.
My t-shirt today was a gift from my niece; it may be possibly my favorite t-shirt ever since it combines an image of one of my favorite sites on Earth, Stonehenge, with a phrase that means something completely different here in the Ozarks.
I thought it would be a radical thing to wear, but I have to tell you that most of the people around here who bother to read at all simply do not “get” the idea that Paganism is probably one of the oldest old time religions around. It is so far out of their experience that I think they read the message and immediately start to hear that old Gospel song in their heads and they don’t even see the picture.
But I love this shirt anyway, despite the fact that it is now about four sizes too big for me.
Make sure you visit Nursemyra’s t-shirt Friday post. Lovely and seasonal.

where DID october go? after an annoying 2 week headcoldfromhell, i’m ready for a frost, though.
LOVE the t-shirt! and since i live in the midwest, i believe the meaning would be lost on most folks in my corner of the world as well…
Oops… sorry for the late link back, didn’t log in again until now (Saturday afternoon for me). love the irony that christians would think it refers to their beliefs
[...] you watch the video, swing on by HMH; she;s sporting a t shirt today too Published [...]
Great shirt! Hopefully one day Stonehenge will have the visitor centre it deserves.
