Today I am involved in the great Backyard Bird Count that is going on this weekend. So far I have done one count at my place this morning. I will probably do a couple of them tomorrow as well. I am also presently at my friend Jeri’s place down by the river and I intend to make a count here too.

We have a similar thing in the UK on the last weekend in January which I took part in – had a wonderful time spotting who was up to what in my back garden!
