One of my clients went on a trip to Peru not that long ago. She went on a trip up to Machu Picchu, and while she was in the area she gathered a rock for me. She brought it to me this afternoon, and after photographing it, I walked it into the labyrinth.
Here it is. It is sitting on top of one of the field rocks from my mom’s farm. The small pile of rocks in the background of the photo are from Costa Rica.
What struck me as I was studying this small piece of granite is that no matter where you go on earth, there appears to be some sort of granite around.
I guess we can blame it on the ever-presence of “global warming” (volcanic activity).
But you can’t just take it for granite.
